Friends and Neighbors,

It has been my great privilege to serve as your 18th Ward Committee Person. I hope my continued advocacy for strengthening voting rights, expanding green space, and protecting veterans benefits has earned your vote for re-election. VOTING RIGHTS

We have been overwhelmingly successful in ensuring voting access here in Philadelphia, but I never could have foreseen the onslaught of attacks on voting rights nationwide. I have not remained silent and have partnered with the group Common Defense to fight to pass the Freedom to Vote Act. You can read my op-ed at ElectJack.com.

GREEN SPACE

I have had the opportunity to work on many beautification projects such as the planning, fundraising and cleaning of the Rose Garden at Frankford, assisting with fundraising for the Crease Street Garden and working with L&I to remedy dangerous construction conditions.

VETERANS PROTECTIONS

In addition to serving as a member of the Pennyslvania Democratic State Veterans caucus I am currently working alongside the Ward Leader of the 58th to encourage veteran participation in Philadelphia politics and protect Veterans benefits.

Lastly, I am proud to be running with Dave Sunderland. Many of you already know Dave from his work with the Crease St. Garden and his dedication to the Friends of Adaire. His great care for this community and desire to improve Philadelphia make him a strong advocate for the neighborhood.
